A Blackberry for me?!?!
Okay, so I know I'm always a little behind the times with technology, but that's okay....it really doesn't bother me at all! I had no intention of getting a Blackberry anytime soon hadn't it been for my wonderful husband who surprised me with one the day after we got home from the hospital. He brought it home and of course I yelled at him with a smile on my face...."why in the world did you do this?!" He knew how much I love my computer and how much I would be restrained to the bed/couch for the next couple of weeks, so he thought that it would be a nice treat for me. Wow! It is the coolest thing ever! When I am awake, it is pretty addicting. I'm still trying to figure out all of the tricks that it can do! Thanks for the great new toy dear!

Happy to be home!
It's been one week since I was admitted into Gilbert Mercy Hospital and I am so happy to be home! Starting over a week ago, on Tuesday, September 9th we went to urgent care at around 6:30 in the evening, which only lead us to ER until 4:30 in the morning on Wednesday, September 10th. After blood work, a CT scan, and a spinal tap, I was diagnosed with a migraine, vertigo, and dehydration. Well, staying home in bed on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, didn't seem to help at all. In fact, the symptoms continued to get worse until I ended up passing out on the bathroom floor on Friday morning. So, instead of going to my regular scheduled doctor appointment on Friday morning, mom came and picked me up and back to ER we went!
We got to ER around 10:00 and they did blood work, another CT scan, gave me a bag full of caffeine, and found that nothing was cutting the pain except for morphine. I had one nurse in ER give me the morphine way too fast and boy did I ever think I was going to die! That was the worst feeling I have ever had in my entire life! (I really didn't like being on all that morphine, it was a scary feeling, but it was the only thing that seemed to be cutting the pain.) Around 2:00 Friday afternoon, the doctor decided to admit me into the hospital since the headache was so intense and they couldn't figure out why. After a LONG 4 days in the hospital, I was fortunately still just diagnosed with a severe migraine and vertigo. Man, do I feel for people who get severe migraines all of the time. I thought that my blood vessels were going to explode in my head! I went through series of blood draws, CT scans, MRIs, and an EEG and thankfully nothing serious was found!
So, I am at home resting and trying to gain my strength back! I am on three medications that make me very sleepy! I had no idea the doctor was serious when he said that the dizziness from the vertigo can last up to two weeks. It is crazy! I can not go back to work until I see the neurologist and he evaluates to see how I am doing. I see him next Tuesday, the 23rd, so we'll see what he says then!
I remember when my grandpa was so sick and we took him to the emergency room, he was diagnosed with vertigo. He was sick for a long time also. Our friend Lisa also had vertigo when she was pregnant. Such a crazy thing to have!
Our family is so thankful to have all of our family here to help us out! We were so fortunate that we didn't have to worry about our kids while all of this was going on! They were well taken care of! And our house was even cleaned for us! Thank you, thank you, thank you for helping us out! We really appreciate it!

Sneaky little guy!
Labor Day weekend.....camping again!
Makayla wanted me to make sure that I got the trailer in the background,
so there it is way back there!
One last fire before we had to go back to the heat!
We absolutely love to go camping! It is so nice to get out of the heat and the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It is so wonderful to see the kids have such a great time. Thanks De La Torre's for another fun weekend! You guys are awesome!
Corey went back up this weekend just to move the trailer (you can only leave it in the same spot for 14 days). We figured it is better than hauling it back and forth almost every weekend. We will be going back up again next weekend!
